Board approves personnel appointments, salary alignments and superintendent contract amendment

On compensation, staff sought and the board approved adjustments to management and confidential salary ranges and vacation schedules, applying a 0.75% ongoing increase and a 0.75% one-time component effective July 1, 2026, for specified management groups. The board also approved the AB1200 transmittal required to finalize the tentative agreement with AAA after state review. Separately, the board approved an amendment to the superintendent’s contract to apply the same salary increase treatment to the superintendent’s compensation.
The personnel items were approved by voice/roll-call per the agenda; the announcement about the Personnel Commission begins a public-comment period and is not final until the March vote.
