Chair observed the packet must be updated because “we did get the grant,” and members asked for a pro forma and clearer budget lines for the pool so council can see expected costs, grant funding and any carryover or supplement requests.
Members discussed operating impacts from closing the pool for renovation (lost admissions revenues) and suggested carving the pool out as a separate budget line for the first year to accurately track revenues and expenses. Staff said they will update the packet pages, show grant funding and provide an estimate of when bids will be sought.
