Council moved to authorize the purchase under the city’s procurement policy and approved the item; the vote passed with one no recorded by Council member Donna Lopez. Council directed staff to finalize a written agreement with Love Catalina spelling out responsibilities and to confirm shipping/barge costs and a secure, local storage location.
