Clerk reports audit schedule, 3% levy certification and election preparations

Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen told the board that preliminary audit information has been entered into the CaseWare portal and that field work is scheduled for Nov. 12–15. "Field work is scheduled for Nov 12-15," Paumen said, and she noted a box of documents had been delivered to the CPA.
Paumen also said "Proposed Levy Certification forms were submitted with an increase of 3 percent for both funds in accordance with the annual meeting approval." She reported election judges are scheduled, including five new judges; equipment will be picked up and testing performed soon. Paumen presented the August recycling report and noted a CenterPoint Energy rate increase notice was received.
