Commissioners approve countywide copier lease with Knight after procurement review

"Our recommendation as a committee is we would like to go with option 3," the procurement committee member told the court. Commissioners amended the motion to approve a 60-month lease and authorized staff to finalize negotiation details, including buyouts for existing leases and a coordinated start date.
Why it matters: Consolidating leasing and supplies could reduce per‑device costs and centralize billing. Staff will inventory county‑owned copiers not included in the RFP and negotiate final start dates and buyout terms with the vendor.
