Mister Miller presented the business report covering outstanding state payments, capital project fund cash flows and bond proceeds. “Outstanding payments from the state of Illinois for FY26 total $94,921 as of 06/30/2026,” he said, noting those amounts are from FY26 special projects including early childhood block grant funding.
Miller also reviewed capital projects fund activity: a beginning balance reported as $34,170,247.86; investment income of $299,616.57; and bond sale receipts spoken as $111,257,004.19. He said bond draws and expenses were recorded and an ending balance was reported verbally in the record (as spoken) "1 130429679 dollars and 14 cents." Miller told the board the bond proceeds will pay for current building projects including SHS, Owen Marsh and the District Fieldhouse at Southeast, and noted upcoming bond payments of $6,200,000 due on 12/01/2026 and additional payments totaling $14,600,000 in the fiscal year.
