Staff highlights pedestrian beacons, trail extension and corridor studies under Imagine Dubuque

Assistant Planner Jason Duba said the planning team partnered with the Dubuque Community School District to install pedestrian flashing beacons on Grandview Avenue at Washington Middle School and described a planned trail extension and corridor studies that include roundabouts and parking analyses. "So we have, through a partnership with the Dubuque Community School District, new pedestrian flashing beacons on Grandview Avenue at Washington Middle School," he said.
Staff framed the work as part of a broader complete‑streets approach that will be considered during maintenance and project development across city corridors; no new funding decisions were made during the session.
