Douglasville’s Jingle Jamboree parade set for Dec. 4; registrations open

Douglasville’s seasonal Jingle Jamboree parade is scheduled for Dec. 4, and the city is accepting float registrations through douglasvillega.gov/parade, the podcast hosts said. Chris Dixon described the parade as one of the city’s most popular events and said organizers expect thousands of attendees downtown.
"That's coming up on December 4, but registration is open right now," Dixon said. He added that for a $45 entry fee participants can register a float and that the parade will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and run down Church Street. The festival portion at Towne Green will feature Santa photos, a mistletoe market, vendors, live reindeer and family activities.
Hosts encouraged civic groups, schools and churches to participate and pointed listeners to the community events calendar and tour- ism pages for additional event information and related programming.
