Douglasville opens applications for Dose of Douglasville Citizens Academy

"This is our it's a 10 week program where if you're selected, you'll get to learn all about different, city departments and kind of how, city government operates and kind of runs," Hardaway said on the podcast. She directed interested residents to douglasvillega.gov to find the application and noted the program is popular, running about twice a year and filling quickly when applications open.
Hosts encouraged prospective applicants to apply early and highlighted that the program includes department-specific nights—planning and zoning, parks, police and finance—that can demystify permitting, budgeting and public safety for residents.
