Willard City Council voted Aug. 14 to adopt a transportation master plan amendment to Chapter 4 of the General Plan, directing guidance for existing city areas and for potential annexations including South Willard. Mayor Travis Mote said the Planning Commission had worked on the plan for several months and forwarded it to the council for approval.
Councilman Rex Christensen moved to adopt the Transportation Master Plan amendment and Council Member Rod Mund seconded; the motion passed on a roll call vote with all present council members voting in favor. The amendment is intended to provide enforceable guidance for future road development and connections in both existing and annexed areas.
