Mayor Boyd called the Brundidge City Council to order Sept. 16, 2025, and the council voted to award a major wastewater contract.
Mr. Gaynor moved and Mrs. Rodgers seconded Resolution No. 2025-13, which, per the City Engineer’s recommendation, awards Blankenship Contracting, Inc. Contract 1 — "Treatment and Collection System Improvements" at the wastewater treatment plant — for the bid amount of $1,499,037. The motion carried with all voting yea.
The resolution and vote authorize the city to proceed with the capital work covered by Contract 1; the minutes record the engineer’s recommendation but do not include further technical detail on scope or schedule. The council also took a separate action on the Control Building contract after bids exceeded the available budget.
The meeting minutes were certified by City Clerk Linda Faust as a true and correct copy of the proceedings.
