At the start of business, Mayor Dylan Hedrick presented a consent agenda for routine approvals, including minutes from the May 5 regular meeting and a package of procurement and construction items for sanitation, parks, and utilities.
The consent agenda included: purchase of a dumpster roll‑off truck, automated side loader and rear loader bodies, four semi tractors for sanitation and the transfer station, restroom buildings for Lou Huff Park and Wind Joyce Park, a construction award for the 2025 Alley and Wastewater Improvements Group 2, several change orders on utility transmission projects, and ordinances implementing zoning cases previously heard. Councilmember Moore moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember Carraway seconded and the motion was approved without objection.
