At the May 12 meeting the Planning Commission recorded several procedural approvals and one substantive recommendation:
- The agenda was approved on a motion by Oscar Thomison, seconded by Josh Gaines; minutes from Feb. 10, 2026 were approved on a motion by Josh Gaines and seconded by Erik Breckenridge (both carried 6-0, per the minutes).
- The commission voted 6-0 to adopt the zoning administrator's findings and forward a recommendation of approval on CU-2026-01 (request to allow a destination trailer as an accessory dwelling in R-1) with additional conditions imposed by the commission. The motion was made by Erik Breckenridge and seconded by Crista McKay. The recommendation will be considered by the Governing Body on June 11, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers.
No preliminary or final plat items were on the agenda. The minutes record that Z-2025-07 (Kechi Corner LLC rezone) was returned to the commission and is being held at the applicant's request; a related variance was noted as recessed on Oct. 14, 2025.
