Public commenters urge frugality, raise land‑use and HB510 concerns at Kane County meeting

Fisher asked the commission to look closely at a Planning and Zoning agenda item that would recognize historic livestock trails as established roadways given current roadway challenges; he also flagged three recent property sale–driven zoning‑change requests and urged diligence before approving changes. Fisher said the Vermillion Cliffs Special Service District discussion about adding a southwest parcel should be examined thoroughly, and he suggested the county explore any possible ways to join the Moab lawsuit or otherwise challenge the state concerning HB510.
