The Carlton County Board of Commissioners met in adjourned session on April 27, 2026, at the Carlton County Transportation Building. Chairperson Thomas R. Proulx called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.; commissioners Bodie, Plante Buhs, Reed and Zmyslony were present and the meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
By unanimous votes the board approved the consent agenda and several resolutions. Actions included adopting Resolution 26-030 to accept a $500 donation from Nancy Delaney designated for the Sheriff’s Office K9 Program; proclaiming May 2026 as Mental Health Month in Carlton County; and adopting Resolution 26-031 to approve Minnesota Lawful Gambling Application LG220 for Lakehead Harvest Reunion, Inc. The board later adopted Resolution 26-033 to authorize an airport property lease with US Solar Development LLC and approved contracts and tax actions described below. The meeting was adjourned at 4:14 p.m., and minutes were attested by County Auditor/Treasurer Kevin DeVriendt and County Board Chairperson Thomas R. Proulx.
