Council members and staff agreed that clarifying zone intent is preferable to exhaustive lists of individual uses. Patrick O’Brien said staff will produce a simplified chart and present it in a collaborative work session so council members can prioritize types of activities by corridor and zone. No ordinance or consent action was taken at the work session; the discussion was a direction to staff to refine use charts for future council review.
