The minutes record accepted staff recommendations including Jeremy Melton (Account 88554), where the staff/recommended approved value was listed as $715,000; Erika Perry (Account 27235) approved at $215,000; Billy Santamaria-Munoz (Account 13810) approved at $214,000; Kimberly Turner (Account 44778) approved at $308,000; and Stephen Voyles (Account 18058) approved at $487,000. Denials of staff recommendation were recorded for other accounts on the list (for example Felicia Baker, Account 37061; Jeremy Melton, Account 92977; Robert Plante, Account 348; Alejandro Sotomayor, Account 83519). Member Lydia Rollins moved to approve staff recommendations on the appeals with appraisal consideration and Vice-Chairman Ben Amerson seconded; votes were recorded for McBurrows, Amerson, Spinks, Rollins and Griswell.
The board’s minutes provide both the appraiser and staff values beside each account; where the board denied the staff recommendation the appraiser value was preserved in the minutes as the decision reference. Appeals that were denied remain subject to further appeal under county procedures.
