The Marshall County Conservation Board approved hiring six seasonal employees during its March 9 meeting.
Emily Herring proposed the hires and listed pay rates: Greg Morris $15.75/hour; Brayden Fetch $15.25/hour; Kaleb Grant $15.25/hour; Brooklyn Shepard $15.00/hour; Abbey Kemp $15.25/hour; and Paige Hollenberg $17.25/hour. The minutes note that Hollenberg's wages will be covered by the Weed Commissioner's budget. Steve Armstrong moved to approve the hires and the motion carried with Paone, Nelson, Deimerly, Naughton and Armstrong voting in favor.
The minutes do not include job descriptions, start/end dates, or total seasonal FTE estimates.
