Toby Stewart presented RZ 26‑08 for property at 8248 SW Boyer Rd., requested by Josh and Andrea Humig. The applicants seek rezoning from AG‑40 to RR to allow a roughly 30‑acre primary lot for parents and six ~3‑acre lots for their children. Stewart noted rural water will be extended to all lots and that no FEMA‑mapped floodplain affects the parcel. Staff received one letter of concern after the Planning Commission hearing; Stewart provided the letter to the Board. The Planning Commission recommended approval by a 6‑0 vote.
Commissioner Jeff Masterson moved to approve Resolution No. 26-22 to rezone the property; Commissioner Darren Jackson seconded and the motion carried 4‑0. The action allows the applicants to proceed with platting under RR standards and with the developer's proposed lot sizes.
