Stewart noted rural water will be extended to all lots and that no FEMA‑mapped floodplain affects the parcel. Staff received one letter of concern after the Planning Commission hearing; Stewart provided the letter to the Board. The Planning Commission recommended approval by a 6‑0 vote.
Commissioner Jeff Masterson moved to approve Resolution No. 26-22 to rezone the property; Commissioner Darren Jackson seconded and the motion carried 4‑0. The action allows the applicants to proceed with platting under RR standards and with the developer's proposed lot sizes.
