Registrar files budgets, responds to FOIA requests and schedules meeting with county administration

In her written report to the board, General Registrar Lisa W. McDonald said budget proposals for the Office of Voter Registration and for the Shenandoah County Electoral Board have been completed and submitted to Shenandoah County Finance. McDonald said she continues to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests and is placing orders for office and election supplies.
McDonald scheduled a meeting with County Administration for Jan. 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and invited any board member to attend. She also highlighted upcoming training and conferences for electoral officials, including VEBA at The Homestead March 22–25 and EB bootcamp on March 23.
