Scott Estey and Bill Bilideau asked to join or rejoin the Greenland Conservation Commission at the July 8 meeting. Bill Bilideau told commissioners he is seeking to return to the commission because of concerns about local development.
Commissioners agreed to submit both names to the Selectmen for appointment at a Selectmen’s meeting (tentatively July 27). Following Selectmen appointment, the candidates will be sworn in at the Town Clerk’s office. Kathleen Babin-Johnson moved to accept Scott and Bill as commission members pending Selectmen appointment; Cindy Hoohout seconded and the motion passed unanimously among members present.
No contested votes or objections were recorded at the meeting. The commission noted the procedural next steps for appointment and swearing-in but did not record formal biographical details or terms during the meeting minutes.
