The Board reviewed Resolution 21-35, adopted Sept. 13, 2021, which created the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Advisory Council, and discussed aspects of the original resolution that require clarification, including annual reporting, membership and the authority of council members.
Records noted in the meeting indicate only one annual report has been filed since 2021. After discussion the Board determined a work session should take place on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room. Chairperson Jack Seward appointed Ambulance Director Jordan Wright and Supervisors Richard Young and Marcus Fedler to a smaller planning group to prepare for that work session.
