Dan Pallota, Owner's Project Manager with P3, told the committee the Town has funding for the first two phases of the Town Hall renovation—designer selection/schematic design and design development—and that the chosen architect will be asked to provide 50% construction documents and cost estimates as part of Phases I and II. He stated that "the fee for Phase I and II is not to exceed $225,000."
Mr. Pallota also said the anticipated timeline calls for seeking voter approval for construction funding at a Town Meeting next spring. The committee did not take any formal budgetary votes at the June 9 meeting; its actions were limited to organizing, evaluating proposals, and scheduling interviews. Final selection and any construction funding decisions will occur after interviews and subsequent committee recommendation.
