Committee narrows Town Hall designer shortlist; sets interviews for June 23

The Designer Selection Committee reviewed five proposals received by the June 3 deadline and agreed on a shortlist for interviews. Dan Pallota, Owner's Project Manager, confirmed the Town received proposals from SSV Architects (Westborough), Jablonski Devriese (Springfield), ndp (Boston), Clark Green + Bek (Great Barrington), and EDM Studio (Unionville, CT), and that all five met the minimum RFQ qualifications.
The committee reached consensus scores based on the RFQ criteria: EDM Studio scored highest with 22 points, ndp and Clark Green + Bek each scored 17, SSV Architects scored 16, and Jablonski Devriese scored 14. Committee members agreed to interview the top three firms — ndp, Clark Green + Bek, and EDM Studio — and asked Mr. Pallota to provide interview questions; members may submit questions to Mari Enoch. Interviews were tentatively set for Tuesday, June 23 beginning at 3:00 p.m.
