Commission tables Bluegrass River Ranch minor subdivision pending plat corrections

The Converse County Planning & Zoning Commission on June 16, 2026 tabled the Bluegrass River Ranch Minor Subdivision application to vacate and replat Lots 6A and 6B, directing staff and the applicant to make specific corrections to the preliminary plat before returning the item to the commission. Vice Chair Jared Vollman made the motion to table the application; Member Jody Glenn seconded, and all members present voted aye, carrying the motion.

During review the commission requested multiple revisions to the submitted preliminary plat. The requested changes included: clarifying the vicinity map to show the vacation of Lots 6A & 6B and removing/hatching Lots 14 & 15 for clarity; revising the easement serving proposed Lot 14 to be a named 60-foot road and ensuring at least one legal access from a public road because Bluegrass River Court is private; showing new acreage outside the expanded right-of-way for Lot 15; correcting the signature block to read "Town Council of Glenrock"; changing the replat descriptive phrase order to read "A vacation and replat of Tracts 6A & 6B Bluegrass River Ranch Subdivision As Lots 14 & 15 Bluegrass River Ranch Subdivision" (placement of "Lots 14 & 15" directly after "as"); and adding Note #13 to reflect Town of Glenrock approval on March 9, 2026 via Resolution 2026-3. The commission tabled the item to the next regularly scheduled meeting on July 21, 2026 so the applicant can submit a revised preliminary plat addressing these items.
