Selectboard confirms MERP energy upgrade timeline; HVAC work to begin in July
Summary

Chair Susan Culp reported on an agreed work plan and timeline with MERP contractor Bill Graves for energy upgrades at the Town Office, saying HVAC work—the most disruptive phase—will begin in July after electrical staging. Culp said spray foam insulation will require temporarily vacating the building and that efforts will be made to minimize disruption for town staff and the Post Office.
Culp noted the grant sets a project completion deadline of December 31 but said work is expected to finish this fall; the town attorney prepared a revised contract. The Board did not vote on the contract at the meeting but recorded that coordination with the contractor and preparation of the revised contract are complete.
