Sweetwater County Clerk Cindy Swinson presented published notice of liquor-license renewal applications and read the lists of applicants for retail liquor, restaurant liquor, club licenses and county malt-beverage renewals. “A notice of application was published in the Green River Star, January 29 and 02/05/2026,” Swinson said as she summarized the renewal packets brought forward for the March 3 meeting.
The board opened the item for public hearing, received no public comment, and moved through the renewals. The retail liquor-license slate was approved on a motion by Commissioner Slaughter with a second from Commissioner Jones; Commissioner Richards announced he would abstain from item number 5 (Kiar Distributing doing business as Kelly's Hitching Post) due to his interested-party status. The restaurant license for Bodwin Brothers (dba Bavura Brazilian Steakhouse), the Rolling Green Country Club club license and the county malt beverage renewals were also approved by voice votes.
Clerk Swinson identified each class of license and read applicants for the record; commissioners recorded standard motion-and-second votes and the clerk will proceed with administrative renewal steps.
