Board approves minutes, liquor license renewal and a utility permit
Summary

At the start of the meeting the board approved the minutes from its July 28, 2026 session and authorized their publication in the official newspaper, following a request from the auditor's office.
Lisa from the auditor's office also asked the board to approve the renewal of a special class C native wine license with outdoor service for Taber Family Winery LLC at 3570 67th Street, Baldwin, effective Aug. 7, 2026 through Aug. 6, 2027; supervisors moved, seconded and approved the renewal. The county also approved a short utility right-of-way permit for an overhead line on 211th Avenue for a local electric cooperative after the engineer recommended board approval.
The motions were approved by voice vote; no members spoke in opposition and no dollar amounts or contested conditions for the license or permit were recorded in the meeting transcript.
