The Jackson County Board of Supervisors approved resolution 1206-08-04-2026 to accept the final plat for Seeverding Estate, a minor subdivision north of Bellevue.
County planning staff explained the proposal divides existing Lot 11 of Sunset Ridge Estates and adjoining Parcel G into three lots — Lot 1 (about 2.98 acres), Lot 2 (about 30.70 acres, combining existing Lot 11 with adjoining land) and Lot 3 (about 2.12 acres) — and said the proposal involves no new streets or subdivision improvements and each lot meets the two-acre minimum gross size for minor subdivisions. Staff noted the county engineer waived drainage calculations and topographic contours under the county ordinance allowance for plats with eight lots or fewer, and the city of Bellevue approved the plat within its extraterritorial review area.
After supervisors asked whether the plat included park provisions or related earlier subdivisions and staff confirmed it did not, a motion to approve the final plat was moved and seconded and carried without recorded opposition.
