Chief seeks to name training building for retired chief; department targets ISO rating improvement

He asserted that constructing and staffing an updated training building could move the rating to ISO 2, which has implications for property insurance ratings in town. "We're currently a 3. If we can get to the 2..." he said, framing the training project as part of a broader 10–20 year infrastructure plan.
The chief asked to assemble a packet that outlines the long-term needs and funding options, including a one-time bond or incremental CNR contributions, so the council can weigh options in future budget cycles.
