The chief said the stretch of incidents underscored heavy mutual-aid activity and station coverage in neighboring towns. He gave overall citywide EMS totals for the month as 885 calls and flagged the strain on overtime and mutual-aid resources. "It was obviously a very extremely busy month for overtime, mutual aid," he said.
Council members asked several operational questions during the report; none led to policy votes. The meeting then reopened the public hearing and recorded no speakers before adjourning.
