The Windsor Locks Board of Education voted unanimously March 27 to adopt Policy 5121.3 (Academic Dishonesty: Cheating/Plagiarism) as a new policy and to approve revisions to Policy 6146 (Graduation Requirements) and Policy 6148 (Instruction – FAFSA Completion Program).
Board member G. Guyette moved the motion and L. Cutler seconded; the minutes record the motion as approved unanimously. The board held a brief discussion during the second read and review before voting.
The approvals advance the district’s policy schedule and were presented as second readings; Mr. Stacy had distributed the policy priority list and scheduled future presentation dates for remaining policies. The changes to graduation and FAFSA-related instruction were recorded in the minutes as revised policies to be implemented as presented.
