Douglas County board adopts amended sheriff and clerk-of-courts salaries

The Clerk of Courts salary schedule was adopted as presented on a separate motion.
Administration materials cite Wisconsin Statutes §59.22(1) as the statutory basis for setting these officer salaries. The resolution records the approved salary figures for 2027–2030 and notes county participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System and county health insurance program consistent with the county’s fringe benefit program.
Next steps noted in the resolution direct the County Clerk to provide required notices; fiscal notes indicate the 2027–2030 budgets will be updated to reflect the changes.
