Dr. Keeser told trustees the district’s online policy-management tool will be updated to improve search and mobile access and to provide persistent URLs for policies. “Neola is in the process of updating their policy, management tool,” he said, adding that the update will let users search full text, show line numbers for policy updates and be mobile friendly.
Keeser also addressed agenda software: “BoardDocs, it was bought out by a company called Diligent, and Diligent is working on the agenda side,” he said. He explained Neola and BoardDocs are partners and that the district is awaiting migration details from vendors; staff will notify the board and community before making the switch so users are not surprised by interface changes.
Why this matters: easier public access, stable policy URLs and improved search should make it simpler for parents, staff and community members to find policies and procedural guidance, and a coordinated transition reduces confusion when vendor platforms change.
