Educators'union urges clearer representation, safety plans and bargaining consultation

Trustees acknowledged the concerns during the superintendent's remarks and offered to meet with union leadership. Superintendent Zuniga invited continued dialogue, emphasizing the district's willingness to work collaboratively on safety plans and summer scheduling. The union's presentation was part of the public-comment and communication-from-union sections and will feed into ongoing labor-consultation meetings.
