Staff told the board that 703 Northwest G Street has long-standing nuisance conditions, including tires, weeds, limbs and demo-derby cars, and that the case appears twice on the agenda due to duplicate listings. "It's been beyond the 10 day notice," Staff member (S4) said, and staff recommended an enforcement order and an opportunity for the owner to appear at the next meeting.
Board members agreed staff should proceed; staff (S5) said they can issue an enforcement order, give the owner an opportunity to appear and present a plan, and if the owner does not act the city will proceed with cleanup. The item will be monitored and staff will report progress at the next meeting.
