The Long Hill Township Board approved a multi-item consent agenda that included minutes and financials, special services and personnel measures, as well as several policy items. Roll call votes were recorded; the board approved items 2–22 (financials) and items 23–25 (special services). The personnel slate (items 26–40) also passed but with recorded exceptions—one abstention on item 30 and a recusal on item 26—according to the roll-call sequence read by the business administrator.
Karen (speaker 7) told the board the district closed the year with a lunch-program surplus of approximately $28,300 but reported a decrease in state aid of roughly $46,000. She said transportation aid and other aid streams have declined (funding proportions fell from about 62% in 2022–23 to roughly 45% in 2025–26), and noted the resignation of a transportation driver could make contracting Mendham for event transport about $10,000 more expensive annually. The business administrator, Robin (speaker 10), also said the district will reallocate some capital-reserve money for a Gillette outdoor PA repair estimated at about $10,000.
