The Long Hill Township Board of Education formally recognized two departing members at its meeting, thanking Justin Foster for three years of service and Tom Groeskopf for six years. George (speaker 5) praised Foster's ‘‘thoughtful, articulate’’ participation and underscored his focus on students; Justin Foster told the board he felt honored to have served and thanked the community for the trust placed in him.
The board read a citation presenting Foster with “grateful appreciation for your leadership, dedication, and tireless efforts on behalf of the Long Hill Township School District.” Chair (speaker 4) read Tom Groeskopf’s prepared remarks in which he thanked the board and his wife and wished the district continued success. The board said it will accept applications to fill temporary vacancies; the deadline for applications to the board secretary (Mrs. Bomer) was announced as Sept. 4.
