The Board of Adjustment heard four appeals and took these actions:
- 5353 Wilson Avenue (Appeal 20637): Board approved two area variances (side-yard and rear-yard) after testimony from city staff, the architect, and neighbors; exhibits entered into the record. City staff noted the proposal encroached 15 feet into the rear-yard setback and was 1 foot short of the combined side-yard requirement.
- 5203 Windsor Parkway (Appeal 20638): Board approved use/occupancy variance to allow employee parking for a neighboring auto repair business, conditioned on paving and striping the pad, submitting a parking layout to the zoning administrator, reserving one space for the residence, limiting parking to employee/courtesy cars, and prohibiting tandem parking.
- 1411 Dolman Street (Appeal 20639): The board tabled the addendum seeking front-yard relief for up to 90 days so the applicant can seek written neighborhood association support and secure cultural-resources/preservation review; board members expressed concern over the magnitude of the setback deviation.
- 900 Pestalozzi Street (Appeal 20640): Board approved the rooftop sign (historic, refurbished) proposed for the Anheuser‑Busch complex, contingent on Cultural Resources Office review being added to the permit routing and approving the design prior to final permit issuance.
Board minutes, exhibits and staff memos were entered into the record for each case; applicants will be notified of outcomes by mail and any required follow-up to obtain permits must be completed with the zoning administrator and Cultural Resources Office where applicable.
