Administrator Whiteford reminded commissioners about two parcels at Log Lake offered by the village and township. Commissioner Robert Baldwin moved to accept transfer of Parcel #008-450-007-00 from Kalkaska Township and Parcel #008-450-001-00 from the Village of Kalkaska and to authorize the county administrator to complete survey and title work and pay all costs of transfer; Commissioner David Comai supported the motion and there was no opposition.
The motion authorizes the county to conduct necessary paperwork, including surveys and title work, and to absorb transfer-related costs as recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not list an intended future use for the parcels or a budget line for the transfer expenses.
