Officials: Greenup County completion date pending; Boyle County facility expected in about 18 months

Danny Rhoades, Executive Officer for the Department of Court Facilities at the Administrative Office of the Courts, updated the Budget Review Subcommittee on two county facility projects.
Responding to Representative Scott Sharp, Rhoades said the estimated completion date for the Greenup County Judicial Center will be determined after site selection and procurement are finished. On Boyle County, Rhoades told Chair Representative Stephanie Dietz the facility is expected to be complete "in approximately a year and a half," that some functions will not be affected by a planned roof replacement, and that the county intends to continue occupying the building during ongoing construction.
The subcommittee did not set funding actions or change procurement approvals during the meeting; Rhoades did not provide a firm completion date for Greenup County and said more procurement information will be available as the selection process proceeds.
