David Weber, Comanche County Jail Administrator, told the authority on April 20 that the Comanche County Detention Center held 201 inmates as of April 17, 2026, composed of 146 males and 55 females.
Weber reported seven inmates were ready to be transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that seven inmates had been transferred during the week. He provided a combined total of 344 inmates across facilities, saying there are 220 inmates at CCDC and 124 inmates housed at other counties.
The report was presented during the authority's routine weekly business and preceded discussion about transport-vehicle needs. No policy change or immediate operational directive resulted from the inmate-count report; Weber's figures were entered into the official minutes.
