Shannon said the homes are planned for households earning roughly 30–80% of area median income and that the proposed performance period would run from December 2026 through November 2032. She said Habitat already owns the Daniel Street parcel and is negotiating acquisition in Stockbridge.
Commissioners asked whether the application required a county match and whether city zoning/ownership issues had been resolved. Shannon responded that no local match was documented in the packet and that the Daniel Street sites are already owned by Habitat; Stockbridge parcels were under negotiation and would require zoning and permitting with the city. The board moved, seconded and approved the county serving as lead applicant and proceeding with the application.
