Ulster County approves 2023 and 2024 HAZMAT grant partnerships; 2024 award smaller than prior year

Legislator Levine noted the 2024 award appeared about $8,000 smaller than 2023; Deputy Executive explained the decrease reflected a reduced overall pot of funds and that the state sometimes re‑allocates remaining funds, leaving the possibility of a future amendment to increase the award. The committee approved both grant participation resolutions.
