County assessor Laura Duvall explained that the Nevada Division of Water Resources had emailed corrections to two previously approved groundwater-basin budgets; the assessor requested the board formally approve amended tax-bill amounts to avoid issuing refunds. The board approved the amended assessments for the Antelope Valley and Middle East River Valley groundwater basins as presented.
Planning staff presented parcel map 25-0038 from the Burton Family Trust to split a 10.25-acre parcel into three small parcels and a remainder; the planning commission had recommended the split with conditions and the board approved the map. The board also approved an appointment to the Lander County Livestock Advisory Board to fill a vacancy for a term through June 30, 2027.
Laura Duvall described the water-basin corrections as an administrative fix from the state; commissioners approved motion to amend the tax bills to avoid subsequent refund processing.
