The public safety committee approved several permits and license matters brought forward under new business. Trustee Heffley moved to approve a one-time temporary outdoor entertainment permit for Ellsworth Corporation scheduled for Aug. 15, 2026; staff said vendor and background vetting is part of the usual permit review and the motion carried.
The committee also approved a 2026–27 alcohol license transfer for County 1 Inc., which trustees confirmed was a straightforward ownership transfer and that new owners were vetted. In a separate motion the committee approved a producer full-service retail sales application for Raised Grain Brewing Company LLC for a Dielectric Manufacturing 60th anniversary event set for Sept. 18, 2026 at Gateway Court. All three items were moved, seconded and approved at the meeting.
