Cass County designates County Road 113 and County Road 116

County Engineer Darrick Anderson presented two separate resolutions to assign county road numbers to transferred roadway segments. Resolution 38-26 designates a portion of 44th Avenue SW and 4th Street SW as County Road No. 113 (between TH 87 and CSAH 42); the board adopted the resolution unanimously. Anderson noted that the historical County Road No. 113 had previously been revoked and transferred to Pine River Township in 2025, leaving no active County Road 113 until this designation.
Anderson also presented Resolution 40-26 to designate part of 45th Avenue NW and 16th Street NW as County Road No. 116 to extend the existing County Road 116 connection to TH 371. That resolution was also adopted unanimously. Both actions formalize Cass County responsibility to construct, improve and maintain the designated segments.
