Seifert family named Cass County 2026 Farm Family of the Year

The citation noted the Seiferts are first-generation farmers from Longville who built a successful grass-based cow-calf operation and are active in their church, local schools, youth wrestling and public service.
The University of Minnesota Extension program has recognized outstanding farm families since 1979; the county board offered congratulations to the Seifert family during the meeting in Turtle Lake Township.
