Nobles County Library plans move back to renovated War Memorial Building

Library Director Beth Sorenson updated the board that the War Memorial Building renovation is complete and staff are arranging returns from temporary lease locations; new study/meeting rooms and a multi-functional program room with kitchenettes were added.
Library Director Beth Sorenson reported that the War Memorial Building has been renovated and that short-term lessors have been contacted about terminating leases to allow the library to move back.
Sorenson said children’s services were relocated within the building, new study and meeting rooms were created, and a multi-functional program room with kitchenettes and other amenities were added. The board received the update during the Department Presentations portion of the meeting.
