The Nobles County Board consented Jan. 20 to buy 10.26 acres (Parcel 17-0149-000) for sewer treatment ponds to serve the Reading Sewer Service District. The board authorized Board Chair Chris Dybevick to sign and directed County Administrator Bruce Heitkamp to attest to the purchase on the district's behalf.
The minutes note the land purchase closing is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2026 at the Ahlquist & Wiltrout Attorneys at Law office in Worthington. The motion was moved by Bob Paplow, seconded by Gene Metz, and was recorded as duly passed.
